What COMMUNITY MAPPING means to me...

Community mapping, based on my experience, is a process by which you familiariaze a certain place and take note on the significant places by making realistic maps of the place, by means of high or low technology ways...it does not only helps us locate the significant places, but we will also know its people and how they live there...it is like seeing the place in a different perspective...

I think community mapping can be applied in my community by knowing the places and people on my place...i may not draw our place as a map, but i could also discover places by also participating community activities and mingling with people...when i discover new people, i also discover new places also, as these people may help me have a greater access to the community...
